How to update Name and Date of Birth / DOB?

To update your Name and Date of Birth follow the below steps:

• Go to Menu

• Select Profile by clicking on your name

• Select the Account details

• Under Personal details click on Name/Date of Birth to update the same

• Click on Fetch Records

• Enter your new name and DOB or full name, then click on 'Continue'

• Verify your PAN details and confirm

• Upload the required documents

• Verify via E-sign using Aadhaar OTP. An OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and email ID

Note: Your name and dob can only be changed as per your PAN or as updated on the Income Tax website.

Your request will be executed within 2 working days.
